About
Immigration is hard enough without wondering who to trust
Blift exists because two problems kept showing up on opposite sides of the same transaction — and solving either one alone does not work.
Problem one
Clients cannot tell who is legitimate
Only licensed professionals may represent someone for a fee, yet unauthorized agents operate openly — on social media, through word of mouth, in communities where people have no easy way to check. By the time a client discovers their consultant was never licensed, the money is gone and the application is often compromised.
Problem two
Licensed consultants are buried in admin
The consultants doing this properly spend a large share of their week on scheduling, chasing signatures, collecting documents and invoicing — using a patchwork of tools that were never built for immigration work. That is time not spent on cases, and it caps how many clients one person can genuinely help.
What we built
A platform where being licensed is the entry requirement
Verification is not a badge we hand out. It is the condition of being on Blift at all — every consultant is checked against the official CICC registry before they can take a single client.
On top of that foundation we built the practice management tooling consultants were missing: consultation booking, digital agreements, case management with stream-specific document checklists, transparent fee handling, secure payments, messaging and reviews. All of it free, funded by a service fee on platform transactions rather than a subscription that would price out the consultants just starting out.
For practices that outgrow the basics, the Blift Pro Workspace adds an Action Center, Practice Intelligence, Practice Continuity and Global Pricing — deliberately priced so the decision is easy.
Principles
The lines we hold
These constrain what we build. They are not marketing copy.
Licensed or not at all
We do not admit unlicensed advisors under any framing. There is no tier of the platform where that is acceptable.
We are not the advisor
Blift is software. We do not give immigration advice and we do not insert ourselves into professional judgement.
Consultants stay independent
RCICs set their own fees, keep their own clients, and retain full responsibility for their own files.
Costs are stated plainly
Legal fees, government fees and third-party costs are shown separately. Nobody should be surprised by an invoice.
Built in Canada, for a global audience
Blift is based in Ontario. Our consultants are Canadian-licensed; their clients are everywhere — which is why pricing, currency and communication are designed for people who are not yet here.
