Immigration files are among the most sensitive documents a person owns
Passports, birth certificates, financial records, medical information. We build around that fact rather than treating it as an afterthought.
Verification
The most important control is who gets in
The dominant risk in Canadian immigration is not a data breach. It is an unauthorized agent taking money to give advice they are not licensed to give.
CICC registry checks
Every consultant is verified against the official College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants registry before they can take a client on Blift.
Licence class on every profile
Clients can see a consultant’s licence class and status before they book, rather than taking a claim on trust.
Multi-factor authentication
MFA is available on accounts, with a separate PIN flow for sensitive consultant actions.
Documents stay in the platform
Client documents are stored against the case and shared through Blift, rather than attached to email where they escape your control.
Audit trails
A record of significant actions on a case — who did what, and when — so a file can be reconstructed if it ever needs to be.
Payment verification
Payment method changes are verified and subject to a lock period, which closes a common account-takeover route.
Our role
What Blift is, and what it is not
Blift is software
We provide the platform. We do not provide immigration or legal advice, and we are not a law firm or a consultancy.
Your consultant is independent
RCICs on Blift are independent professionals. They set their own fees and retain full professional judgement and responsibility.
Your agreement is with them
Consultation and retainer agreements are between you and your consultant. Blift is not a party to them.
We verify, we do not vouch
We confirm a consultant holds a current CICC licence. Choosing the right consultant for your situation is still your decision.
